This Calhoun County Commission sponsored program is offered to 3rd Grade classrooms throughout Calhoun County Alabama. Museum Educational Specialist Kevin Jenné will travel to your school to present two hands-on educational programs, Web of Life and Earth & Man. Both programs support objectives listed in the Alabama Course of Study. Live animals are used to reinforce concepts during the science presentation.
Presentations are offered Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from September through April for individual 3rd Grade classes or groups of classes. To maximize student participation during presentations, please limit groups to 3 classes at a time.
The Teachers Guides for fall outreach programming is available through the link below to help prepare your students.
