Third Grade
Outreach
The Anniston
Museum’s Third Grade Outreach Program is sponsored by the
Calhoun County Commission and is offered to classrooms
throughout Calhoun County Alabama. The Museum’s Education
Specialist will travel to your school to present two hands-on
educational programs during the school year. The programs,
Web of Life and Earth & Man, support objectives
listed in the Alabama Course of Study. Live animals are used to
reinforce concepts during this exciting science presentation.
Programs are
offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday from September through
April for individual 3rd Grade classes or groups of
classes. To maximize student participation during
presentations, please limit groups to 2 classes per
presentation.
