Alabama Animals

Explore Alabama’s rich variety of life from the mountains of north Alabama to the beaches of the south.  Your class will be amazed by the beauty and diversity of habitats, investigate interesting specimens and meet live animals (native to Alabama).  Animals such as rabbits, snakes, birds of prey, turtles/tortoise and American Alligator are used in this presentation.

When Animals Talk!

Yes, animals do talk! They talk to each other and tell others when they aren’t happy with their presence. Enjoy this program as we learn various animal vocalizations. Alligators, bats, snakes, turkey, and hawk are just a few that we will get to listen to and meet in person. Audience participation is highly recommended as we learn when animals talk and why they are doing so.  Animals used in this presentation are snakes, birds of prey, hissing cockroaches and various mammals.

Clash of the Creatures

Survival of the fittest is the theme of this exciting new program.  Discover the struggle of animal vs. animal, animal vs. natural environment and animal vs. man.  Topics reinforced in this presentation are animal behavior, human impact and conservation.  Animals such as the indigo snake, American Alligator, gopher tortoise and birds of prey will be used in this program.

Animal Body Language

What does it mean when a rabbit twitches its nose, a snake sticks out its tongue or deer rub their antlers against a tree?    People use body language to communicate things such as I am happy or leave me alone, and so do animals.  See some of these animals up close, watch their body language and discover just what it is that they are trying to say.  Animals used in this presentation are snakes, rabbit, chinchilla, hedgehog and birds of prey.
