Educational
Outreach
Take your
students on an exciting field trip adventure without leaving
school!
At this time the
economy is such that you may not be able to provide your
students with all the enrichment that you would like. Anniston
Museum of Natural History is dedicated to education and
community and would like to provide students the opportunity to
have the Museum visit YOU.
The Museum offers
natural history presentations that include live animals from
around the world. These programs are designed to fulfill not
only curriculum requirements but to entertain and excite
students about science. The Museum educational staff members
are seasoned presenters and offer a variety of topics to choose
from. These programs are for large groups such as general
assemblies where all students within the school are able to
participate. Each program is designed to reach the youngest to
the oldest learner in the group. Many of the programs allow for
student participation and interaction and all of them are
supported by a variety of live animals such as mammals, reptiles
and birds.

101-199 students -

For groups of 200
or more students we suggest the following opportunity:
In an effort to
continue to support community and education the Museum would
like to offer these programs to all schools at the cost of
$2/student. The money collected would be split between the
Museum and the host school. This would be a joint effort to not
only provide students with an exciting educational opportunity
but also to help support both institutions.
Outreach is limited
to a 60-mile radius of the Museum and is subject to
availability.
